Southeast Asia Lizards

Agamids are lizards that belong to the Agamidae family, being widespread throughout the world. Collectively known as 'angle head lizards', agamids are a colourful family that inhabitat a wide range of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Borneo and Indonesia. Malaysian species of Agamids are generally arboreal, fast-moving and decked with bright green colours. Physically, they resemble slender iguanas but are a distinct family of their own.
